Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society believes in attaining excellence in the field of education for the benefit of both privileged and under-privileged students from Kinder Garden to Post Graduate education. Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College was established in the year 2001 under the patronage of Dr. P. D. Patil, Chairman.
The objective of this Law College right from its inception has been to promote and protect the feeling of togetherness, caring, sharing and understanding between students from all states.
Sincere efforts are being made to achieve excellence in academics including practical training, excellence in infrastructure and excellence in discipline. Since this college is situated in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Industrial belt and Information Technology Park, Hinjawadi, a placement program has been included for the benefit of the students.
Keeping pace with the modern times this college has made in-roads in the use of computers and is imparting extra-coaching in I.T., I.P.R. and Cyber Laws.
We have taken upon ourselves, the task of not only imparting legal education but also catering to the vocational needs of our students. Looking back at the path traversed, we can be content for having fulfilled the objectives so far and hope that the same trend continues.
